Why We are Mocc Crazy and a Giveaway

If you know me you know I love moccs from Freshly Picked. They were Kinley's first shoes and she still wears them today! They are actually her choice of shoe when I tell her to go get her shoes on. Zander owned 2 pairs before he was even born and continues to own multiple pairs of Freshly Picked moccs. They really are the best!

It was very important to me to find a shoe that could grow with Zander and a shoe that was comfortable for him to start walking in. He can wear them indoors and outdoors with no issues. They are soft soled that form to his feet, making learning to walk easier for him. They are not clunky or heavy like hard sole shoes making tripping and falling easier. You know when they are first learning to walk there are many tumbles and falls so having a soft sole shoe is very beneficial for children learning to walk.

I am warning you though good luck picking out just one pair! There is a mocc to go with every outfit and they are always adding new designs. Even though Zander is not walking yet, I like for him to have shoes on when we go places, especially since it has been colder. I love the moccs for summer as well because he can wear them without socks and his feet won't get too hot. They are the cutest shoes ever! Who said mamas can't match their boys! I love this color!

The moccs are super functional and easy to get on and off. They have fit both my kids feet really well, with or without socks. Zander loved to chew on his toes when he was smaller and would frequently get his feet up in his mouth but was not able to pull his moccs off which was great! They stay on and do not come super easy!

It is no secret I love shopping small business. One of the top things that draws me to small shops is the customer service they offer. Freshly picked does not disappoint with customer service. They are prompt with answering emails as well as their social media accounts. I once ordered the wrong size moccs and had no issues exchanging them. It made life much easier on me!

I asked my husband what he loved about Freshly Picked moccs and he said ummm, they are just awesome. So there you have it. Simply awesome!

SnooZie Mat Review and Giveaway

Have you seen the cutest sleep mats EVER!?? I was so excited when Sleeping Baby reached out to me to review their new SnooZie Mat. I love their products so much! You can read more about their Zipadee Zips here on the blog. Zander is a huge fan!

Let's talk about how amazing the SnooZie Mats are. Kinley goes to preschool and they have to have a nap mat to sleep on. The Snoozie Mat is perfect! It is also perfect for sleep overs at Grandma and Grandpa's house, or just lounging around watching TV. I think it would be great to have the mat personalized with their name if you want them to use them at school.

Kinley does have a nap mat for school but she loves the pillow on her SnooZie Mat. It is also softer and more cozy then the nap mat she has currently. She was so excited when I told her she could use it for school naps. It is machine washable so I wasn't too worried about it getting dirty from all the toddler grime that she comes across at school.

It also has been perfect for sleepovers at Grandma and Grandpa's house. It rolls up so she can carry it like a backpack and do things herself like she likes to do. If you have met my 3 year old, or probably any 3 year old, you know they are all about doing things on their own and rarely wants help. I love that she is able to carry this on her own, one less thing for me to carry as well! Win Win!

I knew the mermaid one would be the perfect choice for Kinley. She loves the colors of it and the mermaid tail. It even has a built in pillow. She also loves using the SnooZieMat for when her babies sleep when she feels like sharing it :).

I see another SnooZie Mat joining our family as soon as Zander gets a little bigger. He will want to have one for school and sleepovers too!

Zipadee-Zip Review and a Giveaway

We love our Zipadee-Zip so much I reached out to Sleeping Baby and asked if I could do a review for their products. They graciously said yes and offered my readers a giveaway. You definitely want to enter this giveaway and if you don't win you can always use the code that will be available after the giveaway to buy one. I highly recommend getting one.

We first tried the Zipadee-Zip when Zander was about 4 months old. It was tough and he fought every second of it. He wasn't rolling yet so we went back to the swaddle to give him a little more time. I thought him still being snug in something would work but he wasn't ready. We tried again around 6 months and haven't looked back. I thought we would be swaddling our baby forever. When we put the Zipadee-Zip on Zander he immediately calms down and knows it is time for bed. It is his comfort blanket, he snuggles right up to you and puts his head down with his hand or bink in his mouth. The Zipadee-Zip allows him to still get to his hands but not smack himself in his face.

I'll be honest I was a little nervous for him to be in something that we would have to transition out of, but I have good news, you really don't have to ever transition out of the Zipadee-Zip. They have options all the way to 5T! Now I am sure we won't be in them that long but who knows and it is comforting knowing it is an option if we need it. I highly recommend the Zipadee-Zip as a swaddle transition for anyone struggling with transitioning out of the swaddles.

We have recently started using a blanket in the crib now that Zander is mobile but when we first started using the Zipadee-Zip we did not use blankets and I love the warmth it provided Zander at night. I didn't have to worry about his hands getting cold because he was snug as a bug in his Zipadee-Zip. Once he gets older they do offer hand and feet free options as well, the Flying Squirrel, which like I said goes up to 5T.

Did you know Sleeping Baby also offers teethers and teething necklaces? I had no idea! Zander and I are huge fans of teething necklaces so I was so excited when they offered to send us one. I LOVE that the necklaces are longer and the teething beads go all the way up the necklace. They are 100% non-toxic and BPA free. Zander has been so distracted by everything while nursing so not only has this helped to soothe his gums it also helps distract him while he is nursing so he actually nurses. Birthday Week - Freshly Picked Giveaway

Well it is my birthday week and I am so very excited to be hosting a giveaway! If you know me you probably know my obsession with moccs. Kinley owns quite a few pair; I won't tell you how many but you might need 2 hands to count them :). Even at 2 she still rocks her moccs.

I really loved them for when she was learning to walk so you do know that little boy will have quite the collection of moccs as well.

These adorable granite or blue spruce colored moccs are sure to match whatever outfit I choose for his going home outfit as well as many more. I have a couple ideas in mind but not set on anything yet. Seems to be the case with a lot of things this pregnancy. I guess that is what happens with the second child. Though we did get a lot of things done in the nursery this weekend and it is just about done!

They are perfect for an easy slip on shoe when you need to put shoes on your kid even when they are not walking yet. They are even great for when they are walking. Like I said they are still our go to shoe at 2 years old. And I promise you they do not come off. Kinley was never able to get her moccs off. It was great :). They formed to her feet and they were always her shoe of choice when I ask her to go pick her shoes out.
